An introduction to the 2022 executive board for the TAMID Group at Duke

Becca Zeltsman

Executive President

Becca Zeltsman is a junior studying Public Policy, Economics, and PPE and is the current President of Duke's TAMID chapter. On campus, she is also involved in Campus Enterprises and Chabad at Duke. Through TAMID, she has been a project manager for companies ranging from the social health platform, Wisdo, to a technology driven way finding solution, RightHear. She has worked for 3 startups over the past two summers, one of which is backed by the Y Combinator. Next summer, Becca will be working at Lead Edge Capital as an Investment Analyst.

Jared Cohen

Executive Vice President

Jared Cohen is a junior from Rockville, MD studying Economics with a minor in Political Science. Jared joined TAMID as a freshman and has led consulting projects for healthcare startup Lynx.MD and B2B data platform Leadspace. Last summer, he went on the TAMID Fellowship, where he lived in Tel Aviv, Israel for 8 weeks and interned for an impact investment firm called Social Finance Israel. Jared now serves as the Director of Recruitment on the TAMID Global Fellowship Board as well. In his free time, Jared loves to play tennis, eat sushi, and watch DC sports teams.

Niso Nahmiyas

VP of Consulting (Internal)

Niso Nahmiyas is a junior from New York, NY majoring in International Comparative Studies and pursuing a certificate in Philosophy, Politics & Economics. This past summer he interned in management consulting at BCG in New York, and this upcoming summer he will be doing an investment banking internship at Lazard. Niso joined TAMID as a freshman and was previously VP Finance and Development. He's now the VP of Internal Consulting where he oversees all chapter consulting projects while supporting the Project Managers. Niso loves all things Turkish soccer and Duke basketball.

Eva Spektorov

VP of Consulting (External)

Eva Spektorov is a freshman from Israel and is pursuing a double major in Economics and Political Science. She grew up in Ukraine before moving to Tel Aviv and served in the IDF’s COGAT unit. She is the Director of Consulting and responsible for sourcing the companies we work with throughout the year. Outside of TAMID, Eva loves reading, playing with her dogs and spending time with family. This upcoming summer she will be in Israel for the TAMID Fellowship.

Mark Kalavritinos

VP of Professional Development & Events

Mark Kalavritinos is a junior from Potomac, MD majoring in Public Policy with a minor in Economics. He currently serves as VP of Professional Development for TAMID at Duke. Mark previously led a TAMID consulting team working with a Toronto-based biotech startup. This past summer, he worked in Washington, D.C. as a Federal Government Relations intern at Verizon. Mark will spend this summer as an Associate Intern with Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Outside of TAMID, Mark is involved with Duke Presidential Ambassadors, Duke Energy Club, and Duke Investment Club.

Emma Anscher

VP of Brand Development

Emma Anscher is the current Vice President of Brand and Marketing for Duke’s Tamid. She is a freshman from New York, majoring in Economics with a certificate in markets and management. Outside of Tamid, Emma is involved in BOW, Duke’s association for business-oriented women. Additionally, she enjoys exercising, eating sushi, and spending time with friends. Emma will spend some time in London this summer, studying at the London School of Economics.

Jake Stoller

VP of Fund Development

Jake Stoller is a junior at Duke from Roslyn, New York, majoring in Economics with a minor in Biology. Jake joined TAMID as a freshmen and has since served as a consultant for Retispec, the VP of Education, a portfolio manager, and is now currently the VP of the TAMID Fund at Duke. Last summer, Jake interned at the private equity firm Madison River Capital. This upcoming summer Jake will intern at Lazard  in their investment banking division. In his free time, Jake loves to spend time with friends and family, watch Duke basketball, and workout.

Mia Penner

Joey Lansberg

Rafa is a Junior at Duke studying computer science and economics. As the Director of Technology, Rafa advises TAMID at Duke’s technical consulting projects and leads and organizes tech-focused networking events and workshops. Rafa has previously served as the Director of Membership and Recruitment, and most recently worked at Tech Startup incubator, TechTown Detroit, this past summer. Outside of TAMID, he is in involved with TEDxDuke and CS Sidekicks. Rafa loves to travel, try new foods, and watch football in his free time.

Mia Penner is one of the current Vice Presidents of Membership & Recruitment for Duke TAMID. She is a freshman from New York, NY majoring in public policy with a minor in economics and a certificate in policy journalism and media studies. Outside of TAMID, Mia is a staff writer for the Chronicle, Duke’s independent student newspaper. She is excited to participate in TAMID’s 8-week fellowship this summer in Tel Aviv.

Sylvia Jacoby

VP of Education

Joey Lansberg is a freshman from Cincinnati studying economics with a concentration in finance. He is one of the current Vice Presidents of Membership & Recruitment for Duke TAMID. Last summer, he was a supply chain intern for Procter & Gamble, planning to return in finance this upcoming summer. Outside of class he enjoys the Bengals, exploring restaurants, and sneakers

Sammy Marks

Sylvia Jacoby is a freshman studying Computer Science, Psychology, and Decision Science. She is the current Vice President of Education of TAMID at Duke. This summer, Sylvia is excited to participate in the TAMID fellowship in Tel Aviv where she will spend 8 weeks working with an Israeli startup.

Sammy Marks is the current VP of Finance and Development for TAMID at Duke. He is a freshman from Phoenix, AZ and plans on double majoring in economics and public policy. Outside of Tamid, Sammy enjoys golfing, sports journalism, and traveling. On the consulting track, he is interested in the fintech industry and looks forward to serving as a project manager in the coming semesters.
