An introduction to our 2024 executive board:
Jonty Ziman is a junior from Scarsdale, New York double majoring in ECE and CS with minors in math and finance. Before attending Duke, he spent a year in Israel working for the startup Bridgify and most recently consulted as project manager for Eggmented Reality. Currently the Executive President of Tamid, he was previously the Director of Consulting External. Beyond his commitments for Tamid, he enjoys watching movies and Arsenal.

Lucas is a junior from New York City double majoring in Economics and Environmental Science & Policy. Lucas joined TAMID as a freshman and was the VP of new member education, overseeing sessions on basic consulting and finance concepts. Lucas has also led consulting projects for Sports tech venture RSPCT Basketball and translation services company SignNow. Outside of TAMID Lucas enjoys playing and watching sports and cooking.

Sophie Wilcox is a junior from Durham, NC studying Public Policy and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Sophie joined TAMID as a freshman and was VP of Brand Development. She was a PM for two semesters and also went on the TAMID Fellowship where she lived and worked in Tel Aviv for eight weeks. In her free time she enjoys running, playing with her dog, and cooking.

VP of Consulting (External)
Chloe Bernstein is a freshman from Greenwich, CT pursuing a double major in Biology and Economics. Chloe joined TAMID in 2023 and is the VP of External Consulting, where she sourced 12 distinct consulting projects for the TAMID chapter at Duke; she maintains communication with CEOs and works with partners to produce statements of work for all projects. She now serves as the Project Manager of Sightbit and is simultaneously on the consulting team for CardiacSense. Outside of TAMID, Chloe is conducting research on novel plastic-degrading enzymes, and in her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, and spending time with friends & family.

VP of Fund Development
Max Gorbaty is a sophomore from New Jersey studying Financial Economics and Math. Max joined TAMID as a freshman and was previously a portfolio manager in the Fund. Last summer, he went on the TAMID Fellowship, where he lived in Tel Aviv for eight weeks and interned at Viola Ventures. Outside of TAMID, Max is involved in the Duke Impact Investing Group (DIIG) and the Duke Economic Analytics Laboratory (DEAL). In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching tennis, listening to podcasts, and trying new foods.
Gabrielle is a freshman from London, U.K. studying Public Policy, Journalism and Entrepreneurship. As VP of Brand Development for the Tamid 2024 executive board, she works to expand the organisations' presence on campus. Beyond this commitment, she is involved with Students Supporting Israel and interns for Congressman Ritchie Torres. In her free time, she reads the news, plays the piano and tennis.
VP of Tech
Kylie is a junior from Los Angeles double majoring in Computer Science and Biology with a minor in Chemistry on the pre-med track. Kylie joined TAMID as a freshman and was on the exec board in the past as VP of Membership and Recruitment. She is now VP of tech, overseeing all technical consulting projects and tech recruitment for TAMID members. Outside of TAMID, Kylie works at a neurology lab doing Alzheimer's research, and in her freetime, she likes to read, spend time with friends, and play tennis.

Sammi is a freshman from New York City majoring in Biomedical Engineering with minors in Math and Financial Economics. Sammi joined TAMID in 2023, and is now VP of Membership and Recruitment. On campus, Sammi is a member of the Society of Women Engineering (SWE) and involved in Chabad at Duke. Outside of Duke, Sammi researches tissue engineering and wound healing, plays tennis, and loves reading books.

Ethan is a freshman from Tenafly, NJ. He took a gap year in Israel and is now studying Computer Science with a minor in Journalism. He joined TAMID in 2023 and is the new Co-VP of Membership & Recruitment. Other than TAMID, Ethan is involved in Chabad and Club Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In his free time, Ethan loves doing anything active and outside– hiking, biking, swimming, and surfing, to name some.
VP of Education
Carter Casey is a freshman from Tampa, Florida majoring in Public Policy with a minor in Economics. Carter joined TAMID in 2023 and is the VP of Education, in which he will lead a semester-long intensive training in financial concepts, consulting frameworks, and startup metrics for new members in the fall. He is also a Project Manager for Flox and is a member of the Duke Debating Society. Last summer, Carter spent his time writing a book on high school debate which is now published on Amazon, and in his free time, he enjoys going to the beach and spending time with friends.

Lindsey is a junior from Louisville, KY and is studying Economics and History. Lindsey joined Tamid as a freshman and has previously served as the VP of Marketing as well as a portfolio manager in the fund for multiple semesters. She is now the current VP of Professional Development . Outside of Tamid, Lindsey is a Dzialga fellow, and in her free time love to go on runs and spend time with friends.
Amanda Liswood is a freshman from Long Island, NY studying Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Science, as well as pursuing the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate. Amanda joined TAMID in 2023 and serves as the VP of Finance and Development, where she maintains TAMID’s budget, organizes philanthropy events, and runs the TAMID Together Campaign. Amanda is a member of the consulting team for Flox. Outside of TAMID, Amanda is involved in The Duke Association for Business Oriented Women (BOW) and DTech, and in her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, cooking, and watching movies.
VP of External Relations
Daniel is a junior from Japan and Israel pursuing a double major in Economics and Political Science. Daniel joined TAMID as a freshman and was previously VP of the Fund. He is now the VP of External Relations and serves as the point of contact for alumni and external organizations. Outside of TAMID, Daniel is involved with club soccer, Bull City Beds, and Start-Up Nation Mentorship. Last summer, he interned at a private equity firm in Tokyo, Japan.
